Well it's October, the nights are drawing in and the leaves are turning. I have to admit I love this time of year. I love the colours, the smells, the sunny but cold days. Autumn is my second favourite season, Spring being my favourite.
I love having the opportunity to dig out cosy clothes, snuggle up on the sofa and munch on some comfort food. After all the pressure of a "summer body" it's nice to be able to cover up and not worry.
Mind you that not worrying can be easier said than done...with autumn comes the cold weather and the need to bump up the heating...and the utilities bills. As I write I'm wearing layers so that I don't have to boost the heating! Wearing warm clothes can really help and make sure you aren't shelling out more than you need to on heating bills.
I have a new favourite "bill buster".......my new Shetland Slippers from Hotter. I've been wearing them for three weeks now and honestly my feet haven't been cold once.

They are 100% pure sheepskin and feel so soft and snuggly when you pop your feet in. I'm a bit fussy with slippers as I need to make sure I'm wearing something with a good grip that stays on my feet otherwise, well I fall. These are perfect! They have a good sturdy sole with good grip and aren't too heavy to wear. I have to admit that at first I could feel I was wearing them (in terms of weight) when I was walking but my legs are very weak. After a few days I got used to them and now I wear them constantly around the house.
These are genuinely the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn. They are great quality and aside from moulding to my foot they look the same as they did when they came out of the box. In fact my hubby is very jealous...I'm just glad my slippers are too wee for him or there would be a fight in this house!
The Shetland Slipper is available in Chocolate, Loganberry or Moss and retails at £65. I have the Moss and really love them. Another gorgeous, high quality, comfortable product from Hotter.
A pair of Shetland slippers was received free of charge. This has in no way affected my review and as always this review is completely honest. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
