A romantic Valentine's weekend away,
Who would go? Where would we stay?
First things first, I have a crush....
Oh my goodness this is making me blush!
Her name is Jo, she's a lovely lady,
Her blog fills my heart with joy daily,
She's my Twitter sister, we get on so well
She's there for me, even when her life is Hell.
A romantic weekend would do us good,
We both have a ridiculous love of food.
With that in mind, where would we go?
The island of Tenerife would suit us fine
A chance for sun and Spanish wine!
Parque Garcia Sanabria, a beautiful sight,
A Barraquito in a beachside hotel
Sweet like us, a gorgeous smell.
Then we'd stroll down to the beach
With our chick lit just in reach.
Papas Arrugadas is a must for dinner,
With a glass of sangria I'm on to a winner!
Larios gin in hand we'll take a moonlit stroll
I'm thinking El Camison is the place to go.
And so to our hotel in the Golden Mile,
Do I declare my love for her writing style?
She's honest, stylish, does a mean review,
It'd be a chance to say I love you!
